- Open System Settings on your Mac.
- Click Privacy & Security in the sidebar.
- Scroll down to the Security section. Under "Tokenizer was blocked from use...", click Open Anyway.
- In the confirmation dialog, click Open.

Because Tokenizer is distributed directly from our site rather than the Mac App Store, macOS applies a quarantine flag to downloaded files. Tokenizer is 100% local-first and contains zero third-party telemetry. You can approve it in 5 seconds via System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway or with xattr -cr /Applications/Tokenizer.app in Terminal. Follow our Installation Guide above.
Where do I get my license key after purchasing?
Dodo Payments displays your license key immediately on the post-payment checkout confirmation page and sends an email copy to your inbox. In Tokenizer, open Settings → License and paste your key to activate.
How does Tokenizer read my remaining quota?
Tokenizer reads from each service's official client routes or local session storage (like ~/.claude or ~/.codex). Every percentage displayed is the exact figure reported by the service itself.
How many Macs can I activate with one Pro license?
Your Pro License permits up to 5 concurrent Mac activations. You can easily deactivate a machine in Settings at any time to transfer your license.
What version of macOS is required?
Tokenizer requires macOS 14.0 Sonoma or newer. Both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel architectures are supported natively.
